ABOUT THE EVENT

Al Green is one of soul music’s most iconic artists, defining a sound that’s as timeless as it is unmistakable. With classic hits like “Let’s Stay Together”, “Tired of Being Alone”, and “Love and Happiness”, Green turned raw emotion into musical gold by blending gospel roots with deep, heartfelt soul. Even now, he remains a commanding presence. In 2023, he put is signature touch on Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” followed a soul-stirring cover of R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts” in 2024. With a voice full of warmth, grit, and grace, Al Green’s performances are as powerful and moving as ever.  Grammy Award winning Motown legend Thelma Houston (“Don’t Leave Me This Way”) lights up the stage!
