Thunder Valley Casino, which is owned and operated by the United Auburn Indian Community, developed its Sponsorship Program to support primarily local community groups and organizations by sponsoring and participating in fundraising events.

While the Thunder Valley Casino Sponsorship Committee will review all requests that benefit groups and organizations, primary consideration will be given to marketing related local sponsorship opportunities.

ineligible for sponsorships/donations

  • Loans
  • Grants
  • Individuals or individual sponsorships
  • Umbrella or Pass-through Agencies/Organizations
  • Political or legislative causes, organizations or individuals
  • Out of State Organizations/Groups/Individuals

submission criteria and dates

  • All requests must be submitted in writing a minimum of 45 days prior to your event date or deadline. We regret that the Committee is unable to consider or respond to requests that are not timely submitted.
  • Requests can be submitted to the Committee in the following ways:
    • Fax to “Attention: Sponsorship Committee” at (916) 408-8370;
    • Mail to: Attention: Sponsorship Committee, Thunder Valley Casino, 1200 Athens Avenue, Lincoln, CA 95648; or
    • E-Mail to: sponsorships@thundervalleyresort.com

notification of decisions

  • The Sponsorship Committee meets once per month and responds to all timely requests in writing or via telephone.
  • Due to the volume of requests, we regret that we are unable to confirm receipt of requests, provide verbal status reports, hold meetings with individual groups regarding requests, or provide explanations for denying requests.
  • The Sponsorship Committee holds monthly meetings, and written responses will be mailed to all applicants.

uaic community giving program

The Tribal Council of the United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC) established a separate Community Giving Program to improve the quality of life, by giving financial support to worthwhile not-for-profit organizations, in the communities where tribal members live and work.
