Alex was born and raised in Hawaii. He attended the University of Hawaii pursuing a degree in business administration/commerce. He began his hospitality career with Amfac Hotels in Hawaii and San Francisco before moving to Reno. Alex has held many customer service related positions at El Dorado, Peppermill, Atlantis and Harrah’s. He joined Thunder Valley Casino in April of 2003 as casino host and was ultimately promoted to executive casino host.

Angela was born and raised in Hong Kong. She moved to the United States in 1986. Angela began working at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in 2003 as an Asian marketing coordinator. She was promoted to casino host eight months later and was promoted to executive casino host in 2007.

Anh was born in Vietnam and moved to the United States in 1981. She began her gaming career at Cache Creek as a dealer in 2001. She came to Thunder Valley as a part-time dealer in 2003 and was recently promoted to casino host.

Betty Huang, a native of Taipei, Taiwan, moved to the US in 1998 to attend California State University, Sacramento. She has worked at the Five Star Howard Plaza Hotel and Red Hawk Casino. In April 2010, Betty joined Thunder Valley Casino Resort as an executive casino host. She is delighted to be a part of the player development department and is looking forward to creating many lasting relationships. In her spare time, Betty enjoys traveling, shopping and working on her golf game.

Brian is a California native, born in Glendale, and raised in South Lake Tahoe. He comes to Thunder Valley from Harrah’s Lake Tahoe where he worked in various positions including VIP services manager. He was selected by Harrah’s corporate team to train and open new VIP service departments at assigned locations throughout the United States. Brian joined Thunder Valley Casino Resort as a casino host in May of 2003, just prior to its opening. He has since been promoted to executive casino host.

Cathi, a California native, was born in Lake County and raised in Kelseyville. Upon graduating high school, she moved to Chico and received a BA degree from Chico State in liberal studies with an area of concentration in comparative cultures. Cathi has worked for Harrah’s for the past 15 years working in a variety of fields and occupations such as VIP services, events and promotions, VIP casino host, and player development manager.

Geneva was born in Vietnam and moved to the United States in 1982. Geneva came to Thunder Valley Casino Resort in May of 2004 as an Asian Marketing Coordinator. She was promoted to Casino Host a year later.

In 1986, Greg moved to Reno, Nevada and began working at Harrah’s in the food and beverage department. He worked his way up to food services manager and in 1997 transferred to the VIP services department as a casino host. Greg moved to Roseville in 2003 and began working at Thunder Valley Casino Resort as an executive casino host in May of that year.

Jeanine was raised in Southern California and spent two years at American University in Nuremburg, Germany. She began her career in gaming at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in the VIP Services department. She quickly moved up to casino host. She also worked at the Sands, Stardust and Desert Inn. In 1996 she moved to Reno. She comes to Thunder Valley from her most recent job as an executive casino host at the Peppermill in Reno.

Kevin Huang joined Thunder Valley Casino Resort in April 2006 as a casino host. Kevin, originally from China moved to the United States in 1991. He brings with him over 10 years of restaurant experience and is also a part-time student at the California State University, Sacramento pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Kitt grew up in the Bay Area and attended San Jose State University. In 2007, he moved to Roseville, and two years later joined the Thunder Valley team as a Casino Host. He was promoted a year later to Executive Casino Host. Kitt brings with him over ten years of business experience and customer service. He loves working with people and strives for excellent customer relations and service.

Raised in a military family, Kristina has lived all over the world. She was born in Glendale, Arizona but grew up in Okinawa, Japan. In 2003, Kristina began her career in the gaming industry at Cache Creek Casino Resort where she rose through the ranks in various positions including concierge, VIP registration agent and hotel shift manager. She later moved on to Red Hawk Casino, where she began working as an executive casino host. Kristina joined Thunder Valley in the spring of 2010.

Leslie has been in the casino industry since 1989. She started as a casino cashier on cruise ships where she worked for five years. She later moved to New Orleans to work on a river boat casino. In 1997 she was given the opportunity to work at a casino in Reno as a casino host for the Reno Hilton. Leslie came to Thunder Valley in April of 2003. Leslie enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, music and good restaurants.

Lily was born in Shanghai, China, and came to the U.S. in 1985 to attend graduate school at the University of Nevada, Reno. After receiving her MS in chemical engineering, Lily worked as a chemist for a year, before beginning her career in the gaming industry at Harrah's Reno. She worked for Harrah's Reno and Lake Tahoe properties for almost two decades, holding various positions from Executive Casino Host to Director of Asian Marketing. Lily joined Thunder Valley in January of 2010.

Shelly was born and raised in Northern California. She graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor of arts degree in Marketing. Shelly comes to Thunder Valley Casino Resort from MGM Mirage Resorts where she held various positions; the most recent one being western regional marketing director.

Stephen was born in Southern California and moved to Fair Oaks, California when he was 2 yrs old. He has lived in the Sacramento area since then. Stephen has worked in the food and beverage industry for 19 years. He started with Thunder Valley in April of 2003 as the Falls Bar manager, and quickly moved into the assistant beverage manager position by October of that year. He was promoted to Thunder Café manager in July of 2004, and then became a casino host in August 2005.
